Standard Safety

As there are more distractions grabbing for our attention on the road engineers are creating more advanced safety features to help prevent accidents from happening. And no one does safety better than Toyota. Every Toyota Camry is equipped with some of the most advanced safety features available. Every trim level of the Toyota Camry offers standard Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control as part of Toyota Safety Sense. The only standard safety features on every Honda Accord are a Multi-angle Rearview Camera with dynamic guidelines and Auto on/off headlights. Otherwise, Honda's package of advanced safety features is available as a package. Also standard on every Camry is Star Safety System. Another package of safety features that includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, 4-wheel Anti-lock Brake System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, and Smart Stop Technology.

Tech Features

Toyota knows that drivers love to listen to music in the car and the Camry features Entune 3.0 Audio with Connected Navigation and App Suite standard with a 7-inch touchscreen and an available 8-inch touch screen. Honda offers an available 7-inch touch screen as well as available mobile connectivity through Honda Link and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Entune offers AM/FM, MP3 playback capability, Bluetooth wireless technology, AUX audio jack, USB port for iPod connectivity, Siri EyesFree as well as a 3-year complimentary trial of Connected Navigation Scout GPS with moving maps of every trim level. One more cool tech feature that only the Toyota Camry offers is available 10-inch color Head-up Display so you can get your turn by turn directions right on the windshield.

It is easy to get caught up in all of the cool new features that a 2019 model has to offer and forget about the price tag. But what you get for your money is where the Toyota Camry really outshines the Honda Accord. The Honda Accord does have a slightly lower starting MSRP of $22,455 for the base level trim but is not as well equipped as the Camry which starts at $23,495. To get many of the same safety features that the Camry offers you will have to pay quite a bit more for on the Honda Accord.
