The standard performance of this sedan is a 2.5-liter, 202-horsepower four-cylinder engine which enables this sedan to travel up to 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. This powerful V6 performance is available on select trims, like the TRD, XLE V6, and XSE V6. Each trim comes paired with a direct-shift eight-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission with intelligent (ECT-i).
Each Camry trim also comes avaiallbe with all-wheel-drive, unlike many other sedans on the market. The available Dynamic Torquer Control AWD helps maximize torque to all four wheels when needed, while maintaining front-wheel-drive performance in normal driving conditions to save energy.
Safety
The 2021 Camry was the first to debut the updated Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.5+ (TSS 2.5+) safety suite. This new suite of upgraded driver-assist features consolidates some of the previous apps together to make them more intuitive on the highways. For example, the Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) features Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) and can be activated at any speed.
